Lisa Harpenau, RN

Lisa Harpenau, BSN, RN, joined the AgencyONE family in July 2021 and brings tremendous experience to our Underwriting department and looks forward to employing her knowledge to help our AgencyONE 100 Advisors provide the insurance coverage their clients want and need.

Lisa’s previous work experience includes: Registered Nursing at the Mercy Medical Center’s Iowa Heart Center treating cardiac patients, collaborating on and coordinating the development of patient care, acting as preceptor to new nursing staff, and working in the Coronary Care Unit and Cath Lab; Underwriting with Principal Financial Group where she conducted health and financial risk assessments and analyses on life insurance applications; and pharmaceutical sales with pharmaceutical companies (Aralez, Koz, Boehringer Ingelheim, Bristol Myers Squibb) where she was a recognized sales leader responsible for regional sales distribution, training, and launching of new products with an emphasis on physician education.

Lisa received her Nursing degree from Mercy School of Nursing in Des Moines, IA. AgencyONE is fortunate to have Lisa whose depth and breadth of experience is certain to be an enormous asset to our team and our AgencyONE 100 advisors.

Lisa has 3 amazing children, twin boys, Henri and Seth, and a daughter, Olivia.  When not working, Lisa enjoys spending time with her family, outdoor activities, exercise, reading, and watching and attending Iowa State sporting events!  Go Cyclones!
